Keep in mind that's for 36g only in the chart u posted @RAMROD which is very little. That's a decent concentration of vitamin C and fibre for example and potassium

 

 Most leafy greens also have antioxidants and stuff like vitamin K neither of which are usually shown in standard nutrition labels

Not being able to pick it all -> hiring workers -> collects everything -> still cant sell everything they produced -> they make a sale/gift to not waste food.

From the picture, that farmer should be retired. Sell the farm to someone young enough to at least work the land himself. A younger man would have harvested some of it himself instead of ploughing it all under.

This is so true.  A food bank just opened in my city because they mandated the grocery stores to donate all the unused unexpired food to the county. 

So every week I'm getting free fresh food like lettuce, fruits, bananas,  bread, meats, and cheese saving $50 or more every time.
