I hate this time of year. I work 9-5 and LOVE to go for a jog in the evening but now it's so dark and I can't get my sunshine.

So much for that extra hour of sleep... My f***ing neighbor woke me up at 8:30am because he was doing repair work on his car while playing loud music. So tired of disrespectful neighbors who can't think of the people around them :saladga:

In most of the US, Canada, and Europe we turn our clocks ahead one hour from March to November so that it’ll be bright out for an extra hour in the summer months. What would normally be 6pm becomes 7pm in those summer months so at 7pm it’s still as bright as it would normally be at 6pm without the time change. We switch back an hour to the “normal time” in the winter months from November to March mostly so it won’t be as dark in the morning, especially for kids going to school. But on the flip side it goes back to getting dark early in the afternoon. Most people, including me, want to stay in daylight saving time year round, so it stays bright in the afternoons. It is depressing to leave work, and it already be dark out. The US Senate passed a bill to stay permanently in daylight saving time, but the House didn’t pass it. Call your US House representatives and tell them to pass the bill for those of y’all that live in the US!

I got it now. They tried daylight savings time in my third world country but people kept getting confused with it and after a year it failed miserably

I hope the exit is joyful and i hope never to return.
