LateToCult 41,843
The House has been expected to flip for Republicans for months. The Senate is a toss up as of right now. Oregan will probably get a Republican governor too because they have an Independent candidate running that’s siphoning votes from the Democrat. SevenWonder 4,744
Sadly, yes. Definitely in the House. Iffy for the Senate. I'm mentally preparing for the very worst and hating every second.
Morphine Prince 109,655
It has been obvious to anyone paying attention the House will flip. Democrats might keep the Senate. People care about inflation and cost of living. Democrats have been horrible at messaging with this issue. Republicans will benefit from this a lot. Biden’s presidency will effectively be over in January. Republican president in 2024.
ThePerfectCure 278
Unfortunately yes, especially if young folk don’t turn up to vote for the midterms.
gabeoz 7,915
The general direction of the race has been obvious for a while now. Republican house and dem controlled senate is most likely. I think overall the race could still be a total tossup, democrats have been over performing in nearly every single special election this year (flipping Alaska, taking a NY seat that was polling at +8% for republicans and way over performing in other districts that trump took by 10-20 points). I’m not going into this election confident. But it does seem like for once in a long time the democrats could be the underdogs that pull ahead
Meta Mart 352
Righhhhhhht. Head winds, pro-republican, headcases pro-democrats... Can you believe the audacity of this manipulative language??? Emvee 8,827
Americans are fools for thinking republicans will do anything about inflation or the cost of living. They’ll probably just pass another trillion dollar tax cut for the rich while the dumbass public won’t consider it inflationary. Where do you think the money for that comes from? Monstermilo 5,472
yeah theres too many idiotas blaming biden for inflation and gas prices even tho its way more complex than just one person or party being able to keep costs down. i think americas doomed at this point lol if trump somehow wins in 2024 i am seriously considering moving to another country gas prices have skyrocketed everywhere - even in countries where the leadership is enacting conservative econ policies...... reps are just good at mudslinging so their followers believe what they say liberals are too picky and were divided which is why were gonna lose reps literally vote for anyone with an R next to their name
