I was hoping it was something like he passed peacefully in his sleep-though he was still kind of young for that-but he had a medical emergency and died in a car crash. She rarely speaks out on social media about tragedy or serious events-even on this sort of thing-and I don't think she knew him very well at all tbh (I kind of got the impression they were only on set together for a few days by the stories he told). I imagine the Will & Grace cast might speak out, though, as he was apparently close with them and they all worked together for years and years. It's dated, but still pretty funny, and Karen (I can't recall the name of the actress) and Leslie Jordan's character had the funniest dynamic. palma 7,535 Posted October 25, 2022 Share Posted October 25, 2022 I was introduced to Leslie by my teacher in the prep year of college - she was also queer and LOVED Will & Grace so we used to watch it in class whenever we had nothing to do. I loved him from the moment he entered the room “Well, well, well…” On a personal level Leslie was immensely talented in comedy but he also had a warmth that reflected the humor and strength of his generation, many of which we lost to AIDS. Having queer elders is such a rarity - and to lose one in a car crash is soul crushing. I just know he’s in a much better place than this wicked Earth although he still had so much joy to give and much more to live. RIP Leslie. I will always cherish your memory.
