Perhaps because it’s not an irreplaceable piece of art history from an artist long dead - it’s a wax figure in a tourist attraction. Doesn’t matter if Charles is an advocate against climate change - this move both gets headlines and attention AND doesn’t put art history in the line of fire and damage preservation of cultural contributions.

I feel like these kinds of stunts don't really turn anyone on to their cause that isn't already and makes people that aren't here for it mad and bitter about it. Like when they glued themselves to the motorways and ambulances couldn't get through, people were more annoyed at that and didn't care what they were saying, seems pointless, the GP are just gonna be annoyed with them for spoiling their kids day at the museum.
