Luv taylor but it’s been years since she had a smash hit… imo I feel like her last hit with the general public was look what you made me do. The lover singles did well but their recurrent streams tragic 😭 The new album is cute and I can see lavender haze or karma being big. Even if she don’t pick it as singles, I could see it going viral like beyonce’s cuff it and pass the lead. I hope she pushes those two, but over the past few years, sis picked some of the worst single choices. 😭 sure willow peaked up number 1 but that 1-38 drop was a mess 💀 i feel like with lover era too she could’ve gotten a smash hit if she choose cruel summer the lead single maybe considering how it’s recurrent streams pass the actual singles. anyways this is my take, so what do y’all think… will taylor finally get that worldwide smash?

Possibly, nothing is impossible. We all counted Beyonce ever having a #1 again out, so things happen. That being said, I think she's stopped taking singles all that seriously? She went hard for the folkmore leads but that's the only time since like...Shake It Off she actively tried pushing a single.

I think her focus is much more on selling albums, that's what she plans her promotional efforts around and it's paying off. Her album sales figures just keep rising and she's gaining more and more of a sales footing around the world. As wild as it is to imagine, 16 years in, she's kind of repeaking.

She would’ve had 2 number one’s if Old Town Road didn’t block her twice during the Lover era :messga:

I was just thinking about this today because it seems like she truely has just given up on singles, her MVs used to have had tons more promo however lately they have simply been a further push for their accompanying album:bear: anyway, hoping karma or lavender haze smashes, could maybe see vigilante sh*t becoming a moderate hit as well
