Vicks 381
If you were Gaga's manager in 2013 , how would you have managed the era differently compared to Troy Carter to make it look like not an underperformance.
nATAH 46,235
1: waited until she was properly healed 2: not leave her on album release day 3: kept the app running as intended 4: hacked into the hard drives and perma deleted the r kelly DWUW so the label is forced to use the xtina one 5: just keep the boat sailing through the mess instead of allowed the negative press to crumble the era, at least let it be a fulfilling era for the fans if the gp just wants to be childish mother, what must i do? monketsharona 75,469
Honestly I would have adviced Gaga for making Joanne at that time. Her image was serioulsy fading and people were questing her creativity and talent. Joanne type of album leading to Cheek to Cheek one year later would have been actually quite smart. Especially knowing EDM was starting to become old fashioned. Then I feel like a return to Gaga form working on some 'adult' dance pop music with RedOne, Moroder, Nile Rodgers, DJWS on LG5 original concept would have been quite successful right after AHS era in early 2016. Lighter 15,376
retitling, rebrand the album simply as an album about the art of s*x, no reverse warhol blah blah koons art in front of pop shiz, visually they can always be there, but at least musically she wouldn’t have struggled explaining it in every interview the way she did, man some of those interviews were painful to watch she didn’t even know what to say or what she was trying to say
dzox 552
Kinda wish gaga didnt overhype the album. She released the title more than a year before the album released. Glad she learned it for joanne and chromosome

Benji 20,113
I would’ve supported Gaga more and pushed her to embrace that rebellion she was feeling. MTV doesn’t like your vision for your Applause performance? No worries, we’ll get a camera and livestream what it should’ve been immediately after the show from a damn parking lot if we need to. I’ll be the first to say; a lot of the music wasn’t upto par but so many of era’s other failings come down to poor management. So much could’ve been done to keep the fans and public engaged without blowing the bank.
Noah 26,928
I would‘ve waited til 2014 with the Release. I think it was clear that there were many health issues Gaga still had to face during that time. I also would hope that in that time she would‘ve fired her whole team. Start completely fresh for the album. Those people that left her side shouldn‘t have had a job in her Team after that. Bobby would‘ve handled the ARTPOP Era much better. Additionally I would‘ve invested more money into Spotify promotions (back then much cheaper), used Instagram more and try to hold the promises made for years prior. (Also pre-film like 3-4 Music Videos, Streaming on YT was still huge during those times, so it would‘ve paid off). ⟡ ⋆ ˚。⋆🦢⋆ ˚。⋆⟡
Railing 2,747
I'd intervene about the R Kelly collab, DWUW was fully intended to appear solo on the album and it should have stayed that way Negotiate with Interscope about letting the album be 18 tracks like intended or at least have a deluxe to fulfill that + start legal planning for Act II Suggest making GagaTV and Trakstar day-1 features on the app (and maybe making the app cost a small fee with the album already included like she had planned in 2012); There is no real reason to have delayed those features, seeing as one was just a remix tool and the other was a social page for Gaga to post stuff (incl. demos) whenever she felt like it. They could've been a bit stripped back at launch and then continued to be built upon with subsequent updates Calm down the in-person promotional schedule a little bit, and actually get those music videos done for Aura, Venus, Sexxx Dreams and MANiCURE over the course of a few months
Yaaaas Gaga 886
1) Not released Applause at the same time as Katy Perry releasing Roar, thus causing a fan battle which ultimately impacted the sales of Applause. Katy Perry was also at the top of her game at the time so wasn't a wise choice. 2) Featured Bruno Mars rather than R Kelly on DWUW so that it got proper single treatment and would've avoided all the controversy that followed. 3) ARTPOP had visual album written all over it so I think all songs deserved some kind of music video.
