Britney thanks Elton John for giving her confidence and believing in her

HMC peaked at #1 in Australia, Israel, Hungary, Croatia,  #2 in Ireland and Iceland, #3 in the UK, #4 in New Zealand and #6 in the US as well as many other Top 10 positions around the world. The single debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, becoming the third song in the history of the chart to do so.

HMC made Britney score a Top 10 hit on the BB Hot 100 in each of the last four decades (90s, 00s, 10s and 20s). HMC also went to #1 in over 40 countries on iTunes.

I'm glad the song gave her confidence again  I wonder if this will lead to more music in the future...

I don’t know what her intentions were, but I can understand if she was upset with the change in the mixing of her vocals. Maybe she wasn’t even being sarcastic, but it’s hard for me to not read it that way.

She chose the version of the song that was released and very much sees it as Elton’s song. Elton said there are like 4 versions and they went with the version Britney wanted, it definitely wasn’t shade but her insta posts are sometimes difficult for those not too familiar with Britneyisms.

Woman who suffered years of mental abuse and trauma isnt in the beat headspace in the immediate aftermath escaping it - in other news water is wet. I’m sure she is dealing with it in her own way and is doing what she can. Having a support system and doctors to help is hard though when that is the very thing that betrayed you in the first place.

She was shading the people who were criticizing her voice on the track. It’s hard to get her irony when you’re not familiar with her way of speaking & writing.
