Like how all the racists and misogynistic a-holes in the US rallied behind Trump after all his horrible statements: it’s because he was just saying/doing exactly what they say/do as well. Kanye fans share the same sentiments as Kanye himself does, and sadly there are A LOT of them. right wing people seem to do a great job at staying unified, unlike the left who seem to self sabotage as seen in this thread mother, what must i do? Versace 7,905
Kanye has literally offended everyone and everything at this point and its not a matter of overacting as much as it is acting. The man expects to get away with things, its what propels him to try more elaborate acts of hate and discrimination and straight down manipulation. He’s a tyrant at heart and no doubt in my mind he has these corrupt intentions to seek power. He targets the youth (his young fans) and they are everything and ever growing in the context of the future of society. This is a person using his influence for an agenda, he is not just mentally unstable and harmless as some may think.
Hyoha 1,610
Kanye is a genius artist with a stupid and insidious worldview based on his gigantic ego and his weak mind. He should be heard if he has anything to say about art. Outside of that realm, he’s basically an idiot. Completely phobic, delusional and just plain stupid. Not to attack her point or defend Kanye. There's no double standard. She was wrong and publicly acknowledged it no matter how embarrassing it was for her, because spreading awareness about this issue is more important than preserving her image. He's spreading hateful content, is proud of it and hasn't shown any sign of remorse or acknowledgement that he's wrong. You really can't see the difference? You popped my heart seams, all my bubble dreams

You really can't see the difference? ok, let me rephrase so I make myself clear. what Kanye does is disgusting, wrong and, unlike Jamie at that moment, he's fully conscious about what he's doing, there's no excusing him. About Jamie, and in this particular topic only, I find her the way she presents her stance a bit off putting taking into account her previous comments, even if she's apologized, it's still racism and it's not saomething she should be given a pass on. That's where I see a double standard, she goes and makes a comment about Ana de Armas (which she later regretted, but never fully apologized for) but when someone comments about her ethnicity (her father is after all Hungarian-jewish) she has this reaction. That doesn't change the fact that she's an amazing actress and that her activism remains valid.

He is not relevant in that way, he might be in Hip Hop, but let's not make his opinions, statements relevant. He's dumb, he needs help which he refuses, and everything he says is not interesting, so why bother? Celebs should focus on something else He's very influential in the music and fashion world. Not to mention he has connections with a lot of wealthy/powerful CEOs of various companies. A lot of teenagers and young people follow him due to nostalgia and killer good music from his prime days. trolly troll troll

You see, we can frogive, we should never forget. Also, "That doesn't change the fact that she's an amazing actress and that her activism remains valid." missed that part ? I'm also surprised by how easily everyone is willing to give her a pass.

I never said that dont put words in my mouth i was referring to you saying that so many people giving her a pass what i meant was that some people might not have known about her mistake

It was everywhere at the time, but yes, it's a possibility that some people didn't know (even tough everyone who quoted me seemed to know it happened). It still doesn't change my main point.
