EGOT2027 10,807 Posted October 4, 2022 Share Posted October 4, 2022 hi everyone! since it’s officially october 4th in most of the world, i wanted to make a thread to acknowledge that we are exactly two years away from the biggest project of our queen’s career!! how are you feeling? are you still as skeptical as you were when the announcement came out? are you excited? do you think there’s a chance for a first look image today with like “JOKER: FOLIE À DEUX 10.4.2024” ? could that be what gaga was doing at WB the other day? i think they did post a JP first look a bit before filming for the first movie started. (please don’t kill me if nothing comes…which is by far the most likely scenario lol. i’m just excited!!) normally i would post something like this in the main thread but we don’t have a joker thread yet! just trying to make space to start speculating about nearly nothing for weeks on end like we always do Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The movie industry has a lot of postponements since Covid times and release dates delay for many movies are announced like almost every month so... Maybe this date IS the delayed date so to not get our hopes up and delay it, they're giving us the most delayed date possible (do movies ever get announced 2 years in advance?) A Star Is Born was delayed, don't forget. I think since AHS. Chromatica, even though it’s my fave Gaga album and I had EXTREME hype for it, it was during a very bad time in my life personally where I was around damaging people. Kinda gave it a bittersweet experience (I’m hoping time will change that), but omg I’m telling you, she is about to EAT this role UP. I know they haven’t started production yet, but even HOG had a pretty quick turn around of only a few months from filming to release.
