How would you react if Gaga collab'd with Kanye West?

Title.

I get the sense this board is heavily against Kanye, but how would you react if she actually released a collab single with him? Aside from his public persona, messiness, and very public mental health struggles the last few years, his discography is among the best in the modern era and production talents are unmatched. There's a couple reasons I think this would work –

- They were originally going to collab early on in Gaga's career with the Fame Kills tour. Idk about y'all, but this is a scratch that's never been itched for me, and I'll always wonder what kind of magic they might've come up with.

- Unlike Gaga working with a lot of other rappers, Kanye has the stature and prestige to ensure that their collab isn't written off as "for the charts", especially because Kanye's chart power has declined considerably over the last decade even as his star power has not.

- A collaboration with Kanye would provide some of the shock/controversy of Gaga's early career without being over the top. It would provide ample conversation topics, and would likely divide the fanbase, but it isn't something that crosses a line (as it turns the Swifties against her, it might open her up to other fanbases in new ways)

- Kanye's abilities as a producer are unparalleled and a song with Gaga would no doubt slap

How would you react if she dropped a "Lady Gaga and Kanye West" or "Lady Gaga feat. Kanye West" single for LG7?

Night Vision

I'd be interested to hear what they came up with together, but I would have been more interested if it had happened sometime pre-2014 when Kanye's music was actually still consistently good and innovative.

I still think about this photo a lot though, an absolute serve.

I think it would have been an iconic song in the start of her career (American Boy was everything to me!), but on LG7, I'd be very uncomfortable.

I was a huge fan of Kanye during his Homecoming album, but his treatment of women and people around him is very concerning. Mental illness does not excuse you for being a rude and abusive person. I think Gaga's at a point in her career where features are carefully chosen (or giving platforms to 'smaller' artists with the BTW anniversary remixes and DOC). Given the backlash of working with R. Kelly and Terry, she's shown to be more mindful of collaborators.

She's at a point in her career where she doesn't need debates to boost her music or sell tickets. The attention to that track would be diverted to everything but the music.

She wouldn't, but if she somehow did.. it would be terrible for her reputation considering all the things Ye has been doing lately..

If you have some rad remixes you made laying around, send it to me!!

I would be so here for it. The Fame Kills tour always had me imagining what it would be like 😍

Big Reputation

It would probably be one of the best tracks she’s ever released. He’s an amazing producer and I want her to do more rap/hip hop. Jewels is my fave song from her and I need more 😭

Regardless of his whole messy life i think he's a GREAT producer. I would've loved it (if taytay is ok tho. I care about her. I think she wouldn't mind)
