I know there's a lot of discussions about who want ARTPOP act 2 for the album 10th anniversary or who would like LG7 instead.

Just sharing my opinion on this. I would pick LG7 by far. Why ? I feel like Lady Gaga has grown up positively as a person and as an artist so so much since ARTPOP. No shade to the album because I totally love it and feels like it has always been underrated.

But after reading V Magazine interview I feel like Gaga would not like to return to such a dark place in her life. She hit the rock bottom at that time, she struggled with drugs, anxieties, psychological issues and everybody turned their back on her. She was surrounded by very toxic people in both studio and personnal life.

Would I like her going back there just for a couple of songs (that were told not even finished) ? For some songs revisiting her bad habits and some talking about her ex ? Hell no.

I would rather like her to write, compose and record new music that she feels right now. Music that would be created with all of her positive energy. I would rather see her healthy new life living through this music. I'd rather see her working with only positive and healthy people on this. She deserves it.

What are your thought ? More LG7 or Act 2 ?

Hard question.

I dont know the direction of LG7...but i like the element of suprise. and Id die for it to be metal/rock.

ARTPOP is her best album so far... and also the most controvers in the fan base. ACT 2 would be awesome if we get new and revamped songs.

I say Id want LG7. ARTPOP was fantastic and for me it doesnt need more. ACT 2 can leak someday or songs can get used in other albums.

But I hope someday she will do something like ARTPOP again. A album with a massive variety of genres. I mean she always has multiple genres in one album, but I mean ARTPOP-style. It was so diverse.

Will people ever retire the Act II discussion :air:

I mean I love ARTPOP too but girl- :air:

Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something?

I want something new. I don't think she'll be going back to ARTPOP. she's definitely moved onto something much bigger, and I have a feeling she'll want to express that in LG7, not through ARTPOP Act II

I love Motomami by Rosalía, and it kinda has this minimalistic and cold feel that ARTPOP had back in the day. White backgrounds, bold colors, but really simple in shapes and textures. I think Act II would be amazing, but I don't really want a full revamped album with the original 2013 tracks she wrote. I think revisiting that concept of putting the ART in front of the POP with her 2022 perspective and new tracks would be amazing. A full new body of work revisiting the same concept with a much mature vision, 10 years into her career.

could mean anything

There’s no greater song than the ones fans are imagining... We should keep in mind unreleased songs are unreleased for a reason: I’d rather move on to the next project than dwell on material that wasn’t even good enough to make it in the first place.

Reworking ACT II with the maturity she has now as an artist and human being would be the perfect way to close this topic (and relaunch the discussions about OG LG5 😏)

I never expect her to drop Act II as an album anyways. I'd love her to release ARTPOP 10th anniversary edition with 3-4 from the vault tracks. Thats it

Act II deserves release, in my opinion, and I don't think it should be such a big deal that it interferes with LG7; If it came out as an anniversary 2-disc edition, then it would theoretically be no different than something like the Born This Way reissue that had those big-name cover versions attached and which had no bearing on the Chromatica era.

I’m pretty sure in her words and DJWS they made like 20 volumes for ARTPOP over 70 songs and that they were Amazing. But I’m sure they didn’t get released because they were good and more of her team left her, her album didn’t do well, and it made her feel lost

Snorted at the gif lmao.

I hope Lady Gaga keeps doing what she's always done–recording what's in her heart at the time. At the end of the day her art is about her and where she's at right now. That's what makes her relationship with the monsters so special; that she's just putting herself out there and we resonate with it so much 💙

I'm in love with so much of her work and I can't wait to see what else she has to show us!

Would you love me if I ruled the world?
