Greatest Hits albums actually can be very successful in this era because the streaming points will keep it i the charts for a long time and it will build great sales gradually.

The only way this will happen is through a jazz & piano acoustic rerecording, which I think the public will love (the main reason for Greatest Hits releases) and also showcases Gaga's talent! I've been longing thinking about this one and I am happy to finally post it.

I personally would love to hear the following songs, most of which have already been performed live in acoustic. All albums have 3 songs, except ARTPOP (4) and Born This Way (5). Born This Way is simply the album with the best piano ballads. There are also two Bad Romance versions, one that is piano first then end with upbeat orchestra like the Jazz & Piano version, and one much more chill like the Five Foot Two version. Other favorites from this list include Just Dance, Telephone, Do What U Want, and hoping for a piano I'll Never Love Again! That last track will be so good.

Spoiler

Just Dance (Jazz version) - Just like this but with an upbeat end

Poker Face (Westfield Piano ver).

Paparazzi - Jazz version

Bad Romance (Jazz & Piano version with upbeat ending)

Alejandro or Dance in The Dark - Upbeat Dark Jazz like Paparazzi

Telephone - Piano

Applause - Piano

Do What U Want - Piano and whatever that instrument is hehe

ARTPOP - Piano only

Gypsy - Piano

Perfect Illusion - Piano and Joanne - guitar (Although the Piano version is alright good)

Million Reasons - Piano

Shallow - Piano

Always Remember Us This Way - Piano only like in the demo

I'll Never Love Again - Piano only

Stupid Love - Piano only

Rain on Me - Piano

1000 Doves - Piano Studio Version (it's so good)

Marry The Night - Piano

Born This Way - Piano

Hair - Piano then end with rock guitar and bass

You and I - Jazz

The Edge of Glory - Piano

Bonus track: Bad Romance Piano and Trumpet only

Because Gaga is such a multi-faceted talent, there's so many ways she could approach a greatest hits album. Live studio versions is an obvious choice, re-recording them to tweak and update them like what Madonna did with Immaculate Collection or have them all be piano covers. But I think it's best to just stick to keeping it classic. Just stick to the big hits with the original versions which we know people like. Some GH's can get too overstuffed with songs that really weren't hits at all but were more fan-known, which is fine for lesser successful artists and therefore their entire single-ography can be put there as anything that charted could be classed as a hit for them but someone of Gaga's level needs to stick to the big hitters. #1's and top tens, that's it. This would obviously prove a bit of a problem for international listeners (You&I and MR weren't a big hit outside the US, for example, and clearly, there would be no mention of DWUW even though it was a hit at the time). A great additional idea for the fans would be to do what Girls Aloud did when they put out their final greatest hits. There were 2 versions - the standard, which was 1 disc with new extra tracks and the version for superfans - 2 disc edition with the second disc being purely composed of songs that the fans wanted, from singles to album only tracks and even super rare B-sides, and there were online polls conducted so the fans could vote. I feel that would be exactly the thing that would appeal to Gaga fans.

This is the problem with all the fanmade tracklists. It becomes "my fav tracks" instead of GH.
