Sits on the floor can be sold at higher prices.. when you look at dates in Europe I think the average price of tickets is inferior to us dates. Its probably a thing issued by the county fire marshall (e.g, people need to be able to have walkways to get out in case of emergency or something). I went to camp along a red carpet for a movie premiere once and we got kicked out of our spot because we were blocking mandated safety space. Apparently Europe is more relaxed about it. I agree no need for sitting when everyone stands, but it could also be like someone said, you can charge more of a premium for seats as opposed to standing tickets far from the stage.
