Like she tries to fit as many words into a phrase as possible and it makes it not enjoyable to sing a long to. Also her insistence on displaying that she has a strong voice by belting in songs that do not require it makes it a bit meh. Like we get you can sing girl...I get it's rare having pop stars sing bop songs yet still display their range but sometimes it is appropriate to dial it back a bit vocally. Other than that she is great fun and her music BOPS most of the time and I wish her much success tbh. She is really underrated and I wish she became bigger I respectfully disagree with this because all her hooks are easy af to sing along to, her breakthrough single Sweet But Psycho goes like “oh she’s sweet but a psycho…ma ma ma”. Her song My Head My Heart for example literally has a chorus of “la la la la” and on her new single the bridge is “ma ma ma miracle”.
