Truth is, I have never been a mega Nicki stan, so I have not gotten much intel on her situation, I just choose not to stream ha. I know she has a lot against her which at this point can’t be saved, but that is sort of where my mindset is with Taylor. Yeah she might have a PR team, but again, to blame Taylor for directly knowing Nicki’s history is a reach. Kim Petras on the other hand same with Nicki, they both have their socials piled with comments calling them out for their relations to Dr. Puke, so they have no excuse for not being aware. She's probably counting on it for a bit of buzz to help her album announcement spread farther. However, it's also clear that they're not friends, just...idk, coworkers? Peers? Whatever you'd call them. They're at an after party together, that's it. They don't hang out, they have no personal connection. That means Taylor benefits from the drama buzz but won't get sucked into the actual mess by more than a few kids online. She and her team are not stupid, they know exactly what they're doing and they're good at it It's really disheartening to see Nicki go from this uplifting and creative artist to a cheap-verse-selling egomaniac that attacks her husband's victim I hope Taylor keeps her distance after this probable PR stunt. Nicki clearly came up to her. What else was she supposed to do? Make a big deal out of it? Nah no way TS knows how to be a celeb. She's attending these things because she's going to release an album soon. It's not like she sought Nicki out personally to interact with her. Not for knowing her history, more for normalizing Nicki by showing yourself with her despite this history. Nicki got 3 several major rapist support scandals in the last years so it's hard to think Tay wouldn't know yet she's not bothered by it it seems. Also she made a sign to the audience for them to stand up for Nicki when she was on stage at this VMAs so it's not just that she accepted a pic or was willing to talk to her as a "polite" reaction, she actively support her ass lol.
