I'm seeing people such as The Beatles during their psychedelic phase, David Bowie with his character Ziggy Stardust and even SOPHIE. Not to say that Gaga is not experimental AND visual, but the album ARTPOP bases itself around EDM beats and in my opinion, there is nothing avent-garde about either song except for ARTPOP (song).
