The twin babies that Elon Musk fathered with Shivon Zilis, one of his senior employees at his brain chip company Neuralink, were conceived through in vitro fertilization. Zills, who has worked at Neuralink for five years, gave birth to the twins last November.

Zilis, 36, has told colleagues that she and her 51-year-old billionaire boss were never engaged in any sexual relationship or were ever involved romantically in any way, according to Reuters. source source

To be honest having kids when you are financially able and without a partner in your mid thirties is not bad at all.

She probably shopped for him to be the dad for genetics i guess but then again that is not weird as so many babies are conceived with far less intent.

She found a donor, she got twins now, she is smart and got a good career. She got it planned and I am happy for her.

As much as we dislike Elon, I dont pass the sins of the father to the kids.

He loves to say « being a mom is important » i hope he understands being a dad is as equally important. Tired of men never facing responsibility

he has 10 kids to 4 women that he reportedly doesn't really father at all, because he believes we need to breed to increase the population :bear:

The world has almost 8 billion people. And the earth is dying because of over population. We actually need less people.

I don’t follow Elon Musk, does anyone know if he supports republican moves to ban abortion? Is that the motive behind banning abortion? To over populate America and the world?

i also think Elon has brain damage. And he’s not as smart as people think. He pays people to come up with the ideas and carry them out, he doesn’t come up with them himself.

he has declined to comment on Texas' abortion law last year. he avoids talking about politics when it doesn't affect his companies financially.

He's too early but I don't think he has the wrong idea (long term). Birth rates are dropping like a stone everywhere and it's falling below the replacement rate everywhere

The only reason population is still naturally rising in many countries (excluding immigration cuz globally that doesn't matter) is because humans live like 80 years and the larger generation that is still alive under a certain age even if they have less than 2 kids per couple for the moment it still exceeds the number of people dying since the pool of people above 70 is smaller but that is a temporary phenomenon. Already all over the world young ppl is dropping as a percentage and old ppl surging. More and more countries are gonna enter decline and globally it won't happen just yet but eventually

Also as far as the health of the planet I don't think "8 billion ppl" is the problem. The wealthiest 1-2 billion people on earth are the majority of the consumption so if u cut earth's population in half to 4 billion but left the wealthier half ud still have the same issues... and also there's enough resources such as food for everyone but it's not distributed properly

So it's more about how we're managing our consumption and resources than it is about the total number of ppl on the planet

The developed world is the majority of the problem even tho we don't have the majority of the population
