He recently shared that he thinks he is part of the “first generation to live forever.”

Kushner made the bizarre claim while promoting his new book “Breaking History” during a live stream with the YouTube channel Livesigning. The former White House adviser was asked by a man in California about his daily routine and how he balances his very busy life.

Things took a weird turn when he began speaking about exercise.

“The last year, the one thing that I tried to put a priority on since I left the White House, was getting some exercise in,” Kushner said. “I think there’s a good probability that my generation is — hopefully with the advances in science — either will be the first generation to live forever or the last generation that’s going to die. And, so we need to keep ourselves in pretty good shape.”

A source close to Kushner told The Daily Beast that the comment was a “joke” despite his tone sounding pretty sincere.

Maybe for the ultra rich. I doubt they would ever give us normal ppl the elixir to eternal life :messga:

He spilled! First generation to live forever or last to die (under 100 on average at least)

Idk the math on his "generation" but I believe it for at least babies born in 2022. Also "last to die" the world could end!

Economy

I don't think anyone alive today will get treatments advanced enough to make u live forever

Ageing is very tricky and complicated. Optimists have consistently make date predictions when they thought certain breakthrus in fighting ageing would be achieved and consistently failed lol

Maybe one day but I doubt this century.

Living longer with revolutionary new treatments I'm sure... But not forever

Serial Chiller

surprised at the number of people here that wish to live forever lmao.

Life is precious yes but that's only because it's limited.

Make good meaning of the time you have instead.

Also this world is crashing and burning within the next few generations so...

It's pretty hard to overcome mutations and damage in DNA replication as well as worn out body parts.

I think our best bet at immortality will be to find some way to quantify, measure, observe, and either transport or copy our consciousness into an artificial reality...or at least into a robot body :laughga:

But then are we even human at that point...Ugh I love topics like this :enigma:
