I looked up all the interviews and clips I could find cause she was so interesting to me. Then me gushing over this performance in particular and watching it over and over made me realize I had become a stan. After the Monster Ball in 2010 I truly became a Little Monster and never looked back. I had so many amazing moments with her through the years and met so many close friends cause of her, I'm forever grateful. She's really enriched my life in so many ways. But the Paparazzi VMA 2009 performance really made me rethink her in every single way. The Speechless Royal Variety performance is what locked me in. Oh my God... I was shook!! I had honestly never seen anything like that and to be honest I was quite spellbound by her in that red latex on that gigantic piano. Could get over how cool and unique she was. I got both of their CDs for Christmas….although I never fully listened to Born This Way because I was young and scared to listen to Bloody Mary 😂 I ended up watching the monster ball on HBO and loved it so got the dvd, as well as the fame and monster CDs…..I was so obsessed and would sing along to the songs on my karaoke machine. Then one day I was like, I need to listen to Born This Way. So I put the CD in and plugged my headphones in and just sat there in awe. I remember being so amazed, especially by hair.
