Feed, 4 Ever 4 Me & 29 are easily in my top 3 :applause:

Also makes me laugh how everyone says "oh they're going back to their roots". Like tf, have you even listenened to Demi's first 2 albums :enigma: I absolutely love DF & HWGA but that's pop rock at best mama. Holy Fvck is serving a powerhouse hard rock vocalist realness. I had some concerns this was going to sound too hyper/rocky for me but after playing this from start to finish a few times and experiencing it as a complete body of work, I can say they really delivered :legend:

I wondered how this was going to sound as I liked Skin of My Teeth and thought Substance and 29 were ok but didn't know how it would come together as a complete album. Well, I think this is their best album and I've thought they'd never be able to top Confident. My ultimate favourites are Eat Me, Dead Friends, Help Me and Feed but so many of them are really good. The vocals were on point as well. Best of all, there were no bad or mediocre tracks whatsoever which is very rare for any album but especially a 16 track one, even my ultimate faves can't do that. So while every track isn't perfect, it's overall a solid listen. This feels the most authentic that Demi's ever been and this should be the style they stick with now. Also, this is their best ever album score on MC with 78, just 2 points away from critical acclaim status and it's one of the few times I can say that the score is pretty much spot on. Even if it doesn't win, it at least deserves a Grammy nomination or two. There's no other album in the pop sphere that sounds like this right now, that has to count for something.

I agree, but do you prefer Confident over Tell Me You Love Me?

I thought that was a clear number one from her.

Yeah, I thought Tell Me You Love Me was just ok, same with DWTD. This is their first above average album since Confident.

I haven't actually listened to the album in so long to remember if I liked all those songs (would have to refer to my album review book for that) but I did love Ruin The Friendship, but everything else was just kinda middle of the road for me.

Has anyone listened to this album via Amazon Music streaming?? Some of the songs, like Freak, Eat Me, Heaven, Dead Friends, Help Me, etc are like really low volume? In my car, I normally listen to music at volume 30 (out of 50) but with some of these songs, I have to turn it up to like volume 45. Thoughts??
