The thing is that it's a sad thing to say about someone you are in a song with (even if you didn't actually work together on the song) and who you've obviously interacted with too. If she doesn't know her personally, she could've said something like: I don't know her much but she seems nice, or whatever. It is pretty obvious that she tried to dodge the bullet.
