This is why I believe Gaga is going to be one of the last mega superstars for some time. She came up so organically, and clawed her way tirelessly to go into the stratosphere. It was a real grassroots movement. She didn’t have a platform to springboard off of, no prior TV show, no viral moment, no mentor to give her a leg up. I brushed her off in 2008-2009 thinking she was a one hit wonder. It wasn’t until she went to the MMVAs with the pyro bra that I became absolutely obsessed. It was SO far away from what other artists were doing. From then on she absolutely changed the game, and I believe that she was the pop movement, the cultural shift until 2011-2012. There will be another artist with the same grit, the same vision, the same determination, someone who is able to ask pop culture to catch up with them… It has happened in the past, but I don't believe we have found an artist with the same drive that Gaga has. She will never be over until her voice reaches out to everyone in the world (so pls do a proper world tour soon luvs ). I think it will be almost impossible to be the next pop GLOBAL female superstar with such passion and charisma and talent and magnitude and authenticity. But..i still hope that artist still comes and prove me wrong. I hope Gaga gets EGOT status in 10 yrs. I hope she finally wins an Oscar for acting. I hope Haus Labs becomes bigger and known globally. I hope BTWF branches out to the world too. I hope for all the great things that she do...glow up too.
