You know what's exciting? I think it will be very messy and unpolished just like the ARTPOP smear paint one! She might go for more smeared thickened look which looks more of a demured version of the look. Oh and the slicked back hair for the V fashion magazine shoot.

I hope we get a few iterations. Like a gritty one when she is feeling out her new persona and a polished latex black and red one when she is full blown Harley.
 

Or if they are doing a deranged type musical concept, maybe she will think she looks a certain way in her delusions but in actuality, looks very gritty and unkempt.

I don't imagine it's going to me anything like previous references for her look. They pretty much reinvented the "Joker" look, even altering the iconic colour palette people would be used to for him.

So I think we're for a totally fresh take on the Harley Quinn look, I'm so excited. She's going to absolutely destroy this, you can tell she's been excited and inspired about it for a little bit now, with some of the Chromatica Ball interludes and in the recent US shows she's been starting to ad lib in more crazy/sinister laughing...

I'm really really excited for her playing this role... she's basically been a Harley Quinn type of character all her life. It feels like she's played so many different versions of herself as Lady Gaga and with the characters that she's actually been playing on screen and still every version could be a Harley Quinn. I just hope she doesn't put too much pressure on herself with that role most likely knowing herself damn well what an absolute dreamlike opportunity this is for her. The conditions couldn't be more perfect but I don't want to set too high expectations also

Yes! I think her Harley will be nothing like what’s been done before. Just looking at their silhouettes in the teaser makes me think they have something different coming. I also don’t expect Gaga’s character to be looking like she’s in her 20s.

I think there's so much unexplored potential with Harley, you can do so much with just the core idea. It doesn't have to be red and black. One year I disguised myself as Harley for Halloween and wanted to do my own take on it, I did a combination of purple and teal with black to tie both colors, it was really cool. They should try doing something like this with other colors.
