Once you donate enough things, blathers will suggest building a second floor that has a gift shop with unique items including silver tools, and also there are 4 rooms that you can put whatever you want into on the second floor of the museum that you can purchase for 10k bells each I believe.. you also need to build the second floor for blathers to suggest building the coffee shop too, which is a public works project that you can build in town and I think you can work at it. Mason already mentioned the benefits, but honestly for me it's more about the validity of my catches. If you just keep selling things then there isn't really anything to show off or to prove that you've caught all those creatures. In the museum everyone can see what you caught. Plus, some of those animals are pretty rare so I find it more rewarding knowing that I can go see it anytime I want in the museum versus having to come across it again. It calms me to know that I can sell as many of that creature as I want AFTER I donate. Just me though! Plus, who wants an empty museum! Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

She doesn't give me advice anymore either.. All I can ask her about is customer satisfaction, the town flag/tune, and that's basically all I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent.
