Beyoncé's team clearly do not read stuff online because Lizzo just released her album a couple of weeks ago and got backlash for the same thing. Lizzo also got more backlash but that’s probably due to the song being a single whereas Beyoncé’s was released with the entire album so the focus wasn’t on a single song. I’m sure it would also be a bad look to change the lyrics before release for the digital version and then have people receive physical copies with the slur.
