Finally listened to the full album a couple of times.
All I can say is Yikes! I did not enjoy one single song and have none of them stuck in my head.
As much as I wanted an album like this from her, I don’t think the style suits her.

I was massively anticipating this album. I hope it grows on me

Thank you 💕 and where are we getting the news? Usually things are so tight with her lol

The way the haters are all in here before the fans downloading, listening and declaring their hate for it. Beyonce keeping everyone pressed even in 2022 QUEEN!!!

No one is being hateful about it though

They're talking about it over Twitter. Someone said when act I was announced that it would be 3 acts. I didn't believe that. In Beyoncé's thank yous and album dedication she does confirm it's a 3 act album. I guess time will tell, but I've been begging for more rock songs from her forever

You guys really can't like anything, I'm shook. :triggered:

But, like, do we have to like it?

The album sounds too messy for me, I'm no producer or anything like that, but I was actually really bothered by her over-vocalizing every song or changing the beat abruptly to something else in almost every song. :laughga:

only one I liked was; Thiqué

Hear me out before calling me a hater :patrizia:

Love the beats! Love the vocals! The only issue I have with Beyoncé since that Everything Is Love album is that she's running low on creating outstanding melodies. The songs in this album sometimes don't stand out from each other because of similar beats and sing/rap quality. Otherwise the production is good and her voice, especially when she's not rapping in that monotonous way to similar beat in multiple songs :triggered:, is fantastic. I need a few more listens I guess.

One more criticism might be that it should have had less songs and been more compact. But for the beyhive this definitely is a feast. The more the better!

I actually think it’s an incredible record. Extremely interesting and layered to listen to, and no song ends the same as it begins, which I love!

Yeah I think she’d nail that tbh. Plus, as much as I love renaissance, there’s just not a lot of representation in country or rock from Black artists and I liked what Beyoncé brought to both on Lemonade so I’m game to see her expand in that palette. No one’s doing that rn

I think it’s a very strategic move angled towards live performances. It’s much easier to do rap-singing that doesn’t push her than it is to have belters especially as she ages and touring becomes even harder on the body. I agree with you, but I think a big part of it is strategic and she makes artistic choices around that non-artistic choice.

like, most of her discography is BIG vocals so she needs some songs in the mix that don’t push her as much lol
