"America has to leave east of the Euphrates now. This is an outcome that came out of the Astana process,” said Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday, one day after an Astana process summit with the Russian and Iranian presidents, stressing that his Astana partners agree with this judgement. "Türkiye expects this as well because it is America that feeds the terrorist groups there," Erdogan told reporters en route back to Türkiye, referring to the terror group YPG/PKK, which the US has partnered with on the pretext of fighting Daesh terrorists. “We have certain differences concerning what is happening on the Euphrates eastern bank. If you see a map of where the US is stationed there it is just "coincidently" all next to the oil. Edit: lemme go ahead and clarify I know nothing about the specifics of the different groups involved in this or the politics, so I'm not necessarily co-signing that this specific group is terrorist cuz 🤷🏽♀️ But the USA partnering with extremists is a tale as old as the country itself, so if they are, it wouldn't be surprising. KCK has other branches in Turkey, Iran, and Iraq aka lands where there is significant Kurdish population. This is wiki level basic common knowlegde btw (even PYD recognizes they are part of KCK). This is not some fringe conspiracy theory as most American news outlets would like to pretend in an effort to disassociate YPG from PKK (which Americans rarely question when it comes to international affairs unlike their domestic politics). Not all Kurdish entities in the region are KCK by the way. Kurdish regional government of Iraq is openly anti-KCK. Anyways, if we were define terrorism as inflicting targeted casualties on civilians with the intention of spreading fear in society as a tool to coerce the government/society to their political goals, then KCK is very clearly terrorists… I am not discussing legitimacy of KCK aims but their means certainly makes it a terrorist organization.
