The fact Bloodpop was trying to convince us this version never even existed when we were asking for the "OG version"...

🙄

While I do appreciate his effort in delivering Dawn of Chromatica for us (such a wonderful fever dream even though some tracks could have been tweaked still) I do think Bloodpop is responsible for this album not becoming even bigger than it is. It really could have been one of the most legendary albums if they stuck with more of the OG producers and true deep house concepts. Trying to modernise those type of songs just for more mainstream appeal makes some just wind up having these 2013 drops.

I really kind of knew I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I could once I realised Boys Noize and Sophie were scrapped from the album. :(

I really hope she goes left field with her next project, and judging by how she swerved us with TCB visuals, I'm hoping that's a path she keeps taking. She's on the right track baby 😊

Free Woman demo is better

I wonder who produced these demos? And why were they stripped of everything that made them so good before being slapped on the album? :saladga:

ALSO
Rain on me demo is better

I think the confusion was that the stans asked specifically for the "Haus Labs version" which....was delivered :spin:

We should have been asking for the "writing demo", the "early version", "the one with the Bowie sample", or something.

That one I could go either way with tbh. It needs polishing but I guess that's what a demo is :laughga:

Wow stupid love was so much better

Also can’t believe whilst everyone was asking specifically for that Babylon demo Bloodpop created a whole album of remixes and gaslighted people lmao

It sounds absolutely incredible, the superior version. Don't be shy Gaga, let the queen out to play!

Seriously, one of these leakers needs to bite the bullet and post the whole thing already.  These teasers are great but just leak the damn thing already :cyanlights:

I don’t blame Bloodpop for this.  This demo uses a rough vocal take, if Gaga didn’t want that released and didn’t want to record even more vocals for the song then Bloodpop was in an awkward position of giving us the song but using what he had permission to use.  That’s probably why the Haus Labs version just uses the lead.

Praying for Haus of Afrodite on Youtube to make a 10 minute long extended mix including all the demo material     and maybe blended with the HL remix too

If someone were to make a "house demo bootleg" version of Chromatica, the tracklist would be...

1) Stupid Love Demo

2) Rain on Me Demo (feat. Satan)

3) Free Woman Demo

4) New 911 Demo!!!!??!

5) Babylon Demo feat. bassline from "Fame"

Any others that I'm missing? I'll bet Sine from Above has some weird interesting demos :flutter:

I really like a lot of bloodpop’s work on this album. As executive producer, you have to really dictate how the album looks and feels. He made some great choices with Rain On Me & Enigma.

However, I think there is a massive lost opportunity:

1. They should have released the remixes to Stupid Love.

2. There should be extended versions of the songs. (They play them at the Chromatica ball!)

3. They absolutely should have released house versions of each song.

4. Along with the adobe creative stuff, they could have released the stems to the songs to see what fans could remix. This would have driven engagement AND helped people through Covid.
