and yet people on this site keep justifying Gaga saying she didn't know anything about it. She surely knew it but did nothing

And yet here you are demonizing a woman whithout knowing the full story Why is it so inpossible to believe that gaga didnt know abuse can go unnoticed for years

Leaving this here for the people who think choreographers are protected by some magical contracts that prevents them from being fired on the spot.

Keep in mind though that was only a couple years into Gaga's career, and happened during what we now know was a massive internal power struggle with her label and her manager at the time, Troy Carter.

Like I said before, Richy has over a decade of contract stacking, and countless producer credits. And both Gaga and the Haus are infinitely bigger and more complicated than they were back then.

@elijahfan Truly not coming for you or arguing, just adding to the convo. I appreciate your responses to what I've been adding to this thread.

we aren't talking about just 1 dancer, but about multiple of them. Dancers who have been with Gaga since the beginning of her career, with whom she was very close. it is impossible that she didn't know

Because a lot of people are too deep into their internet algorithms and think anything abusive should be swiftly punished otherwise the blame lands on the people around the abuser.

I think a lot of people are (innocently) naïve about how abusive people like Richy are attracted to power, and part of their abuse is manipulating the people above them so no one sees how they are treating the people beneath them.

What's sick and twisted about this situation is that Richy and Gaga are friends. Close, genuine friends. I am sure he treats her wonderfully and they get along great, she obviously respects his talent as a choreographer, they have been through a lot of tough times together.

When you find out that someone you love is an abuser, it can be hard to accept. She may be in denial. Maybe she wasn't aware. Maybe she is now and it will change! Or maybe not. I'm trying to think of an explanation because my brain won't allow me to accept that she knew all this time and didn't care. It has to be more complicated than that.

Not if they never told her also the dancers said that gaga is not guilty in this so why dont you believe them

And none of them have spoken publicly until NOW.

The fact that Richy has managed to last this long is enough proof to me that the message wasn't getting high enough. It definitely wasn't reaching Gaga, and I doubt it even reached Bobby because he's smart enough to know that a big chunk of this "fanbase" would be foaming at the mouth with the opportunity to cancel Gaga.

.... :bear: More people are speaking out, and it's making me think that The Haus / her management need to address this in a public post. If Gaga is smart (which we know she is) then she or her team will take over the narrative now, before this gets out of control.

Nip it in the bud before it becomes an even bigger deal.

It is more complicated then that but you explained it perfectly tbh ❤

I want people who still after this statement protect Richy in this website banned. I am extremely triggered by all of this and I am so disappointed Gaga is not doing anything. She had to know this back in 2012 when he left. I’m 100% sure he said something back then and she kept working with that man. Sorry if this comes off as too agressive or whatever but this is extremely triggering for me.

I mean maybe it's a reach buy when he says in his stories "nothing was done" I think he's implying he actually told what was happening and nobody did nothing. Pretty sad if that's the case...

Ugh this is so true.

I had a boss that would insult us personally, stole our hours (like, changed the times we clocked in and out), unjustly fired people, hired trashy people she was friends with, etc. It took MONTHS of complaining directly to her boss, her boss' boss, and HR to even get them to investigate. Then months more before they fired her.

And that's just retail management.

I can't imagine how complicated things get in the music industry.

Nah, speaking out before actually dealing with it would be the stupidest thing she could do tbh.

Don't worry, I'm not taking anything personally, we're all here just trying to make some sense out of this mess. This matter definitely warrants a conversation.

I thought so too and I think he’s also kinda saying how it seems like nothing’s been done even recently after those allegations got out.

Some of us do work in corporate roles and I can guarantee you when employees quit or are fired in large numbers, HR is going to ask why. Unless the employee withholds the truth from the employer (and there are a variety of valid reasons why this may be the case), no employment contract is going to be so legally binding that you cannot fire someone based on abuse. I mean come on, do you realize how ridiculous that sounds, thinking that if a boss abuses workers so much that people quit in droves that a contract is going to prevent termination even when found guilty??????

Even in the most toxic of work environments, it would be highly improbable to have a contract so powerful that someone who violates company policy cannot face consequences i.e. termination. It happens all the time.

Something else is going on.
