Gaga always picked song from current album on each tour/ball. An example is Artrave when it started with ARTPOP or on JWT - Diamond Heart. Why do you think BR and not a song from Chromatica? Only 'critique' that I agree on is that LoveGame and/or Telephone can be left out and replaced by extra Chromatica songs and yeah, there should be at least one ARTPOP song (preferably two or three). Hold My Hand as an encore was absolutely great and it did make sense to me, and yeah Bad Romance, Just Dance and Poker Face in the beginning is different to anything she's ever done before but I kinda liked that and it makes sense to the story that someone else here has explained (getting famous, trauma, healing). So perfect? maybe not, but come on, the hate it's getting is absurd. It's a very neat setlist and it serves the GP as well as fans. There's no way to please everyone 100% but I think they made good choices, and who knows maybe she'll add or adjust just a few things to make it even better Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm okay not having Fun Tonight but I'd like her to include Plastic Doll. And as I said, I'm mostly fine with the setlist, but now that some user pointed it out, it's weird that she even adressed ARTPOP last year after tons of fans showed their appreciation but she didn't even include Applause. Rain On Me or Babylon would have worked better as the final song. And to have Replay so early in the show is also a .... choice. What is also odd is the ARTPOP snub especially after the attention the album got last year. ARTPOP is sonically the closest to Chromatica. Having Venus on the setlist was almost certain due to the whole Chromatica planet image. The other thing is that it doesn't feel like a show for Chromatica as the Chromatica songs are quite short and the other songs get more time to shine. And this is just personal but I wish The Edge Of Glory was the studio version. The last time she toured Europe with the Joanne World Tour, TEOG was also a piano song. Of course, everyone has their own preferences but there is no need for being so disrespectful and impolite. Do y'all really think she's gonna include deep cuts from all her previous albums? 9 songs of Chromatica is a decent number of songs and it is normal for a stadium tour that she performs her biggest hits. I also don't quite understand why people are surprised about ARUTW and shallow being included?! Those are two of her biggest songs. Maybe they don't fit the Chromatica story, but this is a concert, not a Broadway theatre show. It is normal not all songs fit each other, that would also be difficult when you have a 15-year long career. Besides, Hold My hand is a perfect ending, kinda what she did at the Joanne tour with The Cure. Was that a hit? No. Was it from Joanne? No. (I know the Encore was MR tho, but still).
