I really don't understand why she chose to remove it from the show since it's her favourite song from "The Fame" too. In addition, why did she decide to sing "Monster" and all those piano ballads instead of more Chromatica?? I can't get throught the fact that she also removed "Plastic Doll", "Sine From Above" and "Fun Tonight". It doesn't seem a Chromatica Tour at all. I didn't get any Chromatica vibes. And I also hate the fact that she didn't open with "Chromatica I + Alice". Of course she had to sing "Bad Romance", but I think it's more a song to close the show with (not something you put at the beggining of it). It would have been very nice to follow the Chromatica tracklist order, placing some of her previous tracks between 2 Chromaticas. What do you think? I also wished she added more tracks from the album, maybe Plastic Doll before Replay. And with Hold My Hand as an encore, at first when I heard rumors it felt weird to have a song not on the album as the encore, but again, while watching the live performance, it felt right, it was like a Gaga - fan moment, and such a rock stadium song! I'll give the setlist 8/10 for me, wished it had more Chromatica tracks and more deep cuts (I think ARTPOP and Aura fit best), but you really need to experience it live first. I'm mostly fine with the setlist, maybe the order was weird tho. I expected her not to sing 1000 Doves, Fun Tonight or Plastic Doll tbh, but when I learned she was not going to sing Enigma it really annoyed me, thank God she finally added it! Missed SFA tho. Maybe I would remove HMH, at least for European dates, and add a couple deep cuts/fan favourites. Oh, and for once I'd like her to perform the full album version of TEOG. She expected more deep ‘iconic’ (Her words <3) cuts, specifically Judas “she better sing Judas 🙄” & “arrest me Russia!!”, Scheiße “her babbling German is genius”, Venus with the key change “she shouldn’t forget my ass is famous” and Applause , she also wanted Aura/Burqa (She’s happy Monster made the list). She was surprised paparazzi wasn’t included since it’s so known here in Europe. She got excited at the first rumour I told her about heavy metal lover was gonna make it. And to the telephone naysayers it’s one of her most iconic and FUN songs (her words <333). It should always make the set list AND that Babylon should be the closer and forget about HMH she thinks this set list is very safe and doesn’t let most people (re)discover her other amazing iconic songs that should have been singles. KORG 4,756 Posted July 18, 2022 Share Posted July 18, 2022 I dont mind it but a few things I'd have altered. Remove Lovegame. It's had its time. Move Stupid Love earlier in the setlist. Finish with a 2nd Encore of Sine From Above after HMH. That's literally it. I love that she's singing Shallow & ARUTW, especially since they're her biggest songs from the last 10 years, essentially. I feel like the set lift goes from darker to more optimistic at it progresses. It starts with bad Romance, Alice, Monster, Replay which all depict poor treatment from people sending you into a spiral, then her psychosis in 911 and coming back with free woman, lifted to a new level through ASIB & finally acceptance & self-empowerment in ROM & HMH.
