The whole thing felt absolutely amazing.

The outfits were great.

Quite happy with the length of the show too, given the London train strikes

The only thing that unfortunately slightly fell flat was the Stupid Love/Rain On Me section, not sure what happened there.

I just gotta say something to people complaing about Joanne and ARTPOP: deal with it. Gaga's career is almost 15 years long and she's not about to stop. She's gonna drop more and more albums and the sooner you let go of the idea that she should cram her whole discography in 2 hours, the less you'll set yourself up. Besides ARTPOP and Joanne were really traumatic eras for Gaga, maybe she wants to move on, you know?

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I loved that she switched Alejandro last minute with Enigma. For me, I could do without Lovegame as well if that meant an Applause or Chromatica track got that stage as well.

And it's amazing that Monster got a performance after all these years.

Need to watch better quality videos but from what I saw, she was serving TFM vibes and I was here for it 100%

Night Vision

I think this is up there with The Monster Ball as her best show. The visuals were incredible, and her performance was on point.

It was actually quite beautiful watching her, it felt like she was coming back to life during the show, remembering "I'm THAT bitch! I'm Lady ****ing Gaga!" :staymad:

SHALLOW

Good: Interludes and Costumes

Bad: Choreo (they did 911 dirty), Stage, Setlist, No wigs, No interaction with the fans.

This is a mess, everyone leaving the show so confused :saladga:

Pros: Her vocal, the interlude, the dancing are great

Cons: Where are all the Gaga theatrical, How in the world Joane world tour have more theatrical than freaking Chromatica. The stage is horrible, and so does that finale :what:

First impressions, no critical thinking or marinating! lol

[What I liked]

- Her performanceship is better than ever! Absolutely incredible vocals, her dancing in conjunction with the singing is really good, and even her piano playing was cleaner than usual. Didn't expect anything less, and she still knocked it out of the park.

- I actually really loved the Shallow/ARUTW/The Edge of Glory ballad section. It sounded really, really good, and it was a great set up for ENIGMA.

- The interlude videos are also really well shot. Gorgeous visuals, great musical ambience, and the ending shot of the opener where she sheds that single tear was really haunting.

- I love the stage design itself. The utilizing the huge wall space for intense video lighting, on a large brutalist stagescape, was a great idea.

- Her makeup and hair looked really good. I can't say that I'm a big fan of the plain blonde for a CHROMATICA tour, but it was styled really well and looked good. Her face looked incredible, too!

[What I didn't like as much]

- The setlist felt really, really random. I think opening with her "biggest hits" was a strange choice. Maybe it was to get them out of the way, but I feel like that really took away from the Chromatica emphasis. Did not like that at all. I feel like the placement of certain songs was really weird, too.

- The overall utilization of the stage felt... uncooked. There were two runways, but did she use them that much? And the B-stage had great moments (Free Woman into BTW was pretty cool), but I feel like she could have spent more time there, to interact further with the back half of the stadium.

- The outfits and styling were... well. If she could move well in them, I'm grateful. But even splashes of color, instead of three black latex/leather outfits would have been nice. Hell, would it hurt to wear a colored wig? jskdjksjdksd

- That Hold My Hand performance was kind of underwhelming lol at least perform it on the B-stage piano? She did that for Million Reasons on the last tour, and I think utilizing that center/far space was a fantastic idea.

3 points in and ready for more

What chromatica songs didn’t she perform? I didn’t get to watch it all yet

I honestly loved it. It was so completely the opposite I could ever imagined. Never would’ve thought she was going for a blond wig. Everything was so dark and heavier while I was expecting a lot of neon green and pink. Lol Anyway, very positive surprised! And I didnt mind her skipping ARTPOP and Joanne at all.

The only thing that was a bit weird was the lack of interaction with the audience and some wardrobe changes within the acts that took a while and were a bit awkward. I guess the stage didn't do a lot of presence during this time to keep us entertained…that finale though… seemed messy, but i am sure these things will get fixed with more shows.

Totally agree. The brutalist architecture and gothic, bloody aesthetic was incredible but I was definitely expecting a space-age neon-gore aesthetic like the album.
