She had no time for speeches I guess?, i'm just a bit disappointed that the show ends with Hold My Hand, having Sine From Above.

She might switch it up, but I kind of get the messaging...ending a show about love and holding hands, etc. In the past, she usually speaks more the more the tour goes on, too.

Honestly think the setlist looks amazing (big hits, Chromatica tracks, plus a deep cut) and better than some of her previous setlists (which will be an unpopular take lol)...the only tracks I'd switch would be Applause for LoveGame (and some said) and Sine For Above over ARUTW. I love ARUTW, know it was a big hit in Europe, but seems like a weird fit...Shallow I get because it was such a massive hits and HMH just works as a closer in terms of its lyrical message, but ARUTW is more Joanne-esque.

For those who were at the show how was the golden circle ?

Pretty bad and I've been front row at every tour since 2010. First of all, it is huge, they solds a ton of GC tickets. It's also very full, unlike for example the Monster pit at the BTW ball where you could stand in the middle while everyone was glued to the catwalks. This was stuffed. Thd space where all the early entry people stood,between the catwalks, that area is very small. I think around 20 fit front row main stage?But the stage is low and she's in flats so she is hard to see at times there too, same goes if she goes on the catwalks, depending where you are.

If you are slightly to the sides, the box stage prevents you from seeing anything, for example the first 3 songs, but most of it actually.

The catwalks have this pointy 'wall' thing at both stairs, this is way too high, so if you're standing to the sides all you see is a bit of blonde hair popping up if you're lucky, even is she is center stage.

I don't get monsters who complain about the closing song, like it's the perfect choice based off its message (and how that's the newest song she released). I've read people saying she should have closed with JUDAS, like :lmao: it's the fact that some of you think they're better than her and her team for me. Even after all these years.

I love it how she went with the unexpected which is totally Gaga. If she came out on a planet all pink and happy with dancing unicorns and sprinkles some fans would have said ‘predictable’. Some fans on here have been wanting DarkGa for years and when she serves that you moan!!  The show was totally Gaga at here best and I can’t wait to do 2 nights in a row London!! The set list is fire but like some have said I would of loved Applause and SFA but who knows I’m sure she might jingle things around maybe? 🙃

What would your recommendation to someone with GCEE be to go for which spot?

Admitedly I only saw videos online, and unfortunately won't be able to attend, so this is based on my impression so far:

  • great vocals, the best she has served in a few years, on the level (or maybe just slightly below, but this is just the first date)  of the JWT;
  • great wigs and make up;
  • I like the stage. It's not Chromatica at all, but it is its very antithesis, which I really like as a concept;
  • she sang ARUTW, which is my favourite song;
  • the choreography for Babylon. It was simple but SO good.

But my biggest let down were:

  • no choreography (Gaga-wise) for Alice. I understand people will say it's performance art, but Alice is a BOP and deserved a propher choreography;
  • her dancing in Rain On Me was half assed. The performance is exactly the same as it was during the VMA,  I was expecting better dancing, also considering that she does not dance that much in the second half of the show; and finally
  • 911. What the heck did they do to the original choreography? Like, that was fuego! The new one is SO underwhelming to me. And I'm not saying it's Gaga's fault, but 911 is my favourite Chromatica's song, and deserved a much better choreo

I had regular GC but my friends who did have EE said it was mostly just a matter of luck where you end up. It the front of main stage is too full, try the catwalk.

Honestly at first impression it was giving BTWB x AHS Hotel 2015 vibes, but now that I think about it

, it just feels so new. It feels like her artistry is really evolving through the  behemoth of Chromatica. She just keeps growing and growing.

and honestly most importantly I’m just so happy she’s on stage again touring. She’s back home where she belongs :kara:

it worth it, don't blame her because you lack artistic taste

brutalist stage=excuse for not wanting to spend money on a more complex stage

and its fine cuz it is only 18 dates.

the vocals, choreo, and outfits were great and thats the main thing.

Maybe your perception will change overtime? Like, look at the JWT appreciation the last few years. And I bet they'll extend it a little more late 2022, least I hope.

i loved the joanne world tour since the first day i saw it, still think its her best stage to date. it seems different from all her other stages and also felt differnt from other artists stages with those floating bridges
