100% correct. Being young is no excuse for ignorance.

What has being young anything to do with this. People are just not interested in Pink Floyd anymore and so what.

He could've said in a way that doesn't make him sound so self-important but he's right

He's right, but also way off the mark and extremely petty :lmao:

When you're already multi-decade musical legend who no one else can compare to, there's no need to speak like this about other artists

Seems to me this is nothing new, that Roger Waters is pretty full of himself for ~50 years and no wonder Pink Floyd broke up. I prefer iconic artists nurturing the newbies instead of dissing them.

There’s no denying though, that Pink Floyd music is some of the greatest ever created and performed, and few ever attain over decades their level of acclaim.

This is not the convo we’re having… he’s just not more important than Drake or the Weeknd.

The "convo we're having" has to be had, because the kids think they're smart & don't realise they're on a Gaga forum.

"My dad was listening to what I now know was Pink Floyd's "Money,” and understanding only the sounds of the cash register in the intro, I wrote a song called "Dollar Bills” on my Mickey Mouse staff paper. The musical notation was of high quality in comparison to the lyrics on the page—none of which were actually spelled correctly. I've always had some difficulty saying what I really mean with just words."

soo...

Kinda stupid to give it the "who is he?" Bullshìt, actually.

Yep' And being old is no excuse to live under a rock. Even as big as Pink Floyd.

Continue to seethe, babe. His music and legacy continues to be cited as an inspiration and an influence on many of the people that have put music out in the last 30 years :vegas:

Then don't, I don't care that much anyway. Just because you happen to be young and not wanting to listen to Pink Floyd doesn't mean you are ignorant about their importance lol.

Ladle Ghoulash

For all the little chartsters out there, Pink Floyd has sold 250 million records, which is more than Drake and The Weeknd *combined*

We have forgotten our public MANNERS
