I don't agree with the sentiments about medications made by Janelle, but it was quite a shock to me to hear that the show refuses to allow players to take medications. As a fan of the show, I'm a little disappointed as this is incredibly ableist.

I dislike that show for the same reason I dislike Drag Race and most reality TV. All that drama :toofunny: idk how anyone can find it entertaining :toofunny:

oooh, this make a lot of sense re: Paloma's behaviour! If she take a stimulant for ADHD like Adderall or something I could see producers keeping that from her. (Not that they should, obvi!! But I do remember Janelle being mad she couldn't have her prescribed sleeping pills lol).

But I do know some houseguests get called to the diary room in the morning to take medications, so who really know. But it does seem to be the case for Paloma, girl is kinda loosing it :wtfga:

This is disgusting and actually very dangerous on top of it. By stopping medications, depending on the med and situation, it could be fatal or have extreme side effects. You could get sicker. That sounds extreme I know, but it’s true. I have personal experiences regarding this type of situation and meds

Somebody from last season also confirmed it under the original tweet (people might not realize bc she is unverified and was voted out super early). I feel bad for Paloma and they should give her the medication but the way she acted towards Taylor is awful.

Isn't this a felony? ...unless they're somehow putting it in some kind of release form? In which case, they'd have to know they were on the medication per the psych evaluation during casting. This is fücking evil. Reality TV producers hopefully have a special place in hell where they get tortured in front of a vast audience of demons who just laugh at their pain and throw discarded limbs at them like rotten vegetables.

I'm not surprised. A girl who participated in the same kind of show in France made a video a few years ago exposing all the kind of things that players had to go through, and it was revolting. For example, on the same subject, they legally had to pass a psychological examination before getting in the game, and the production basically told them to lie about everything, whether they had any psychological issues or even had addiction problems etc.

All those reality shows - and pretty much all tv content - are somehow orchestrated and manipulated to get the audience entertainment so it’s not surprising.
