My salary is for a specified amount of working hours and OT is payable on time I am asked to do beyond that. Definitely not the same in creative arts contracts tho

I'm honestly surprised that fans are even aware who Gaga's dancers and choreographer are. The only behind the scenes people that I've known by name in all these years are Laurie Ann and Sarah Tanno. And these people don't interest me because all I care about is the finished product that Gaga gives to us. Does any other fanbase know or care about the backstage crew? Dancers can change with every tour for the biggest singers. Unless there's a situation involving another celebrity (like in the Taylor/Katy feud), I've never seen any backstage drama among backstage crew be any kind of news, so I don't think this will really affect Gaga like we fear it might. I don't think the public at large would really care about this either. And for anyone wondering how Gaga didn't know about this if she's supposedly so close to her crew, well, even the closest of friends can still harbour secrets. There's some stuff we just don't want to tell anyone for whatever reason. I really don't imagine Gaga being aware of this but not doing anything. If she actually deleted all evidence of her R Kelly collab, I'm sure she would drop anyone who'd actually mistreated her close colleagues who she apparently cares about.

Of course, this needs to be investigated and victims given the right support if the allegations are indeed true. But this is behind the scenes, it should stay that way. There must be similar dramas that have happened over the years for other singers, we just don't hear about it. Just because Gaga promotes this kindness brand doesn't mean that she should be penalised more than singers who don't give two hoots who their backup crew are. Yes, the artist should be aware if their staff are discontented but unless they're the ones dishing it out, they can't be there all the time or witness it all. Abusers are really good at hiding who they are and convincing everyone around them that they're totally to be trusted.

I agree that the timing sucks but it's not really the most pressing issue and I think we'd rather keep this conversation as contained as possible on ggd. It's a bit easier to moderate across just one or two threads.

I will continue to reiterate though that none of us knows the real, full story so we should all really stay out of it and let Gaga and her management run their own show 

We don't even know if the allegations of sexual misconduct were fabricated by a stan or not. Don't be so quick to take every negative thing about someone as fact just 'cause it's someone you want Gaga to stop working with (lord knows I'd love for her to find a new choreographer  but playing up second hand, potentially fabricated accusations of abuse just ain't it and actively hurts real victims).

She stuck by a lot of her crew since the beginning. Like she said at Enigma, "some of us have been clocking it together for 10 or 12 years". They're good friends and still are.

That's why I don't understand why this is starting to turn on Gaga

Literally no dancer has anything negative to say about her so the stans need to take every seat trying to turn it around on her.

If the people involved, the people with the actual complaints, say it's not Gaga? Then it's not Gaga
