Yeah I'm glad you said it, because the general language that comes off as stan-ish (referring to Little Monsters as LMs and saying they would loose their minds, etc.), the poor English, and more importantly the idea that a dancer would spill this in the DMs of a fan seem suspect as h*ll. People make up DM conversations in this fandom all the time with Gaga's team, it's weird but it happens.

I'll probably be dragged for it, and I could definitely be wrong, but as you said he hasn't said anything publicly (unlike Montana, etc.) so I'd wait on that part for the reasons because as I stated above...and I'm pretty sure Montana would have mentioned this allegation since she was open about him being mentally abusive, so I don't know why she would 'hide' this about Richey.

Also have just seen this widely spread around twitter as gospel, that "Silas confirmed Richey is a r*pist", so yikes. And if anyone points out its dodgy asf nature and the fact that he hasn't spoken publicly like Montana and the idea that he'd spill this in fans DMs, it's "you'd do anything to defend Gaga, Gaga is a fake, Gaga back in the day worked with Terry so of course she would (forgetting that Gaga had serious mental and drug issues back in the day, which impacted her judgement, etc.)."

Genuinely believe this is the worst fanbase sometimes...again, obviously it could be true, but right now it seems pretty suspect until the man speaks out like Montana.

IDK, like Richey seems like a terrible person and mentally/verbally abusive, but the deluge of racist death threats and now so many fans believing he's a rapist based off some very suspect, could easily be fake DMs to a fan...just yikes.

Like even if it's real, how would Gaga know? The DMs imply he never said anything about it before until now, but fans are acting like Gaga must have been aware when that contradicts the DMs.

Can someone tell me what Laurieann did that was so bad that the fanbase shuns her completely? Mind you, I was there when the fallout happened, I don’t remember anything explicitly bad - just hurt feelings and miscommunication.

Where is the REAL tea that she’s terrible and insufferable? I always thought that was Gaga’s manager at the time, and the big wigs at Interscope.

She wasn't horrible, so I just said shabby...she wasn't like Troy. But she pretty much publicly said that she created Gaga's image and made it based off Madonna, which sounds like a) taking way too much credit and b) kicking Gaga when she was down, because that was during the time when Gaga was being dragged all over the place and compared (unfavorably) to Madonna.

Like I doubt Gaga was an angel during that time period-it was the height of her drug/mental issues—but LaurieAnn publicly blabbing to the press like that was pretty tacky and gross. To be fair, she's spoken positively about Gaga too.

Officially it’s down as “creative differences” but I understand she was taking a lot of credit for Gaga’s image and became more vocally critical of Gaga during BTW Era which led to them falling out.

i've seen things that make her a hypocrite, saying gaga was being too dark with religion but went on to work with nicki minaj for her religious themed grammy performance

Thanks for the replies. I agree she was messy, I think she was in her feelings and rightfully so - the same way Gaga has the right to decide who gets to call the shots alongside her (considering Laurieann was her creative director).

With that being said, personally speaking, I feel like no one is innocent or bad in the situation (Gaga and Laurieann).

I agree to that.  Referring back to one of your earlier posts about something Laurieann said, she was also right.  It was around that point a lot of the Haus were replaced with yes men and people Gaga wanted close rather than professionals that could steer her in the right direction.  I think it got better after ARTPOP but that was no doubt a huge factor in why the ARTPOP era was so badly executed.

This is my first time watching this and wow. While it warmed my heart and I smiled, it makes me so sad (in a nostalgic sense). I think the fanbase does not give enough credit to Gaga's collaborators and early team (outside of Tara), and here you have it straight out of her mouth saying everything Laurieann would later reiterate in her own defense.

Those first few years of being a Gaga fan were truly magic, the Monster Ball era had an energy that I don't ever think can be recreated. Just pure magic.
