I think she's at the point in her career (Over 10 years in now) where she needs to start putting some big old hits from The Fame to bed. She's been around long enough to have built up more of a catalogue. I'm personally tired of Paparazzi, Poker Face and Lovegame. I love them, but I wouldn't mind if she started cutting some older songs. They can always come back at some point down the line later in her career, many artists do this so those old songs have more meaning when they make a return in a later tour.

Idk. The crowd does always have the best atmosphere when the big hits are happening imo. A good chunk of people will also go to a tour without having listened to the full album so you need the big hits to get them hyped and carry them through the for them unknown songs.

I don’t think she performed Dope right?

She performed it for like the last half of the artRAVE: the ARTPOP ball. She performed it from the Phoenix date until the last Paris show, except like 3-4 shows I think.

But at this point she has plenty of hits, and is continuing to get new ones. The crowd will go just as wild for ROM and Shallow as they will for Poker Face. She's at a point where she can pick and choose hits, she doesn't need to rely on all of them.

Maybe I'm just biased, and i will get hate for this, but IMO PF, JD, Lovegame and Telephone are really not special enough to be defining her career a whole decade later:emma: Bad Romance is undeniably the epic showstopper, and BTW defined a whole generation. But the Fame singles just sound like stale generic outdated dance songs whenever she trundles them out for the billionth time unchanged.

As people always say, you don't  see Madonna performing Everybody and Lucky Star on every tour. Just because they were her first hits, doesn't mean they need to define her forever.
