I think this happened to me years ago because of stress. I’m not sure if it was the same thing, but I couldn't move half of my face. I was prescribed steroids for it and it went away in about a week.

Ugh this sucks for him. My brother had Bells Palsy which I think is similar and recovered fully thankfully. I do admire that he not only talked about it but actually showed his face. I don’t know that I could tbh.
