phantasmas 10,500
wasn’t it also the first chart topper to explicitly mention LGBT people? we love and stan a pioneer
thisboyisamonster 861
Not just for the gays, it is the ultimate an anthem for all LGBTQ's, racial minorities, anyone who felt like something is wrong with them or that they didn't belong (but yes more ingrained into LGBTQ communities)
VOLANTIS 16,404
When fans say Marry The Night should have been the lead single, this is precisely why I have to disagree. The way this song impacted every gay boy and girl who didn't feel secure in themselves, wouldn't have been the same had this song come out as the second or third act in the album roll-out. I'm so very thankful to and proud of everyone involved in this album and especially this song. I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half
SevenWonder 4,318
I agree with the older posters on this thread: It was truly shocking to hear such a huge song talk about us as if we were just normal. Just huge. Frankly, it's probably my least favorite major Gaga single speaking musically, but its importance is off the charts. At her absolute imperial phase peak she wrote a lead single about us. Pretty fing cool.
