Assuming that Lorde/Gaga doesn’t have autonomy over their work and these decisions that people don’t like were made by the men they works with, especially when Lorde has lead production and writing credits on all of Solar Power, and Gaga has lead writing credits on all her songs and production credits on a lot of them. like I dont think jack antonoff held lorde and gunpoint and said we're taking out all the synths Ella! I'm sure you didn't mean it with any malice or bad intentions but idk I feel like we should address the fact that these jokes are kind of icky!
