Apparently at least according to insider reports Putin's relationship with Trump may not have been as smooth as perceived

 

Putin Reportedly often got frustrated with Trumps lack of basic knowledge of the political landscape and that he "had to keep explaining stuff to him". On some occasions he didn't even know where some of the Countries being discussed exist on the world map

Putin really is a worse version of Trump tho. Both power hungry both lie like crazy and do propaganda....

 

But at least Trump was a total idiot which in some ways prevented him from asserting his power as much as he could have

 

Putin actually has some brains which makes him more dangerous

I wouldn't be 100% surprised that was the case. If you want to conquer the world, you need to know who you are conquering. Big percentage of Americans or Westeners in general are lacking geography knowledge. I am past the idea that if someones is in a high position (president, minister, teacher etc) it must mean he absolutely knows stuff.
