Kim got everybody so pressedt

I typically don’t pay much mind to what Kim does because while it can be cringe, it usually is fairly harmless in the grand scheme of things.

However, her wearing the dress and then accepting locks of Marilyn’s hair I have big issue with because it wasn’t a “tribute”, she was just next in a long line of people who want to wear Marilyn like a costume. That women was violently and repeatedly abused as a child then grew up just to be taken advantage of by the entire industry.

She worked so hard and so long to be seen as more than just a dumb blond sex item and she unfortunately never got to live to see herself viewed by the world as anything more than that. And while many have now grown to see her for what she was (an intelligent, strong, creative woman who broke down barriers for the LGBT community, for women, and for survivors of abuse), she is still being taken advantage of today by the way people treat her and her legacy as an accessory.

It was incredibly disrespectful, regardless of intention, to wear that dress and once again parade Marilyn out as nothing more than a piece of eye candy. And to proudly proclaim that she lost weight to fit into it when Marilyn struggled all her life with eating disorders? That’s not honoring her memory.

Kim should’ve just worn the replica if she wanted to tribute Marilyn. But wearing the real thing and accepting the woman’s hair as a token? No. That’s incredible disrespectful.

She's not interesting, I think everyone knows that. In interviews people watch her and look at her I think for her aesthetic, the tan, makeup, huge lips, small nose, big butt, the clothes. In interviews it's just about her show and her life "My daughter loves to cook :)" "Kourtney got married yeah so amazing :)" "I love doing my makeup in the morning and work out at 5 am :)" she's boring, she gotta stay relevant constantly it must be tiring. She has no artistic abilities too, so it's triple hard. At least Kendall has a "career" (although she refuses to work hard in it)

The entire family's career was built on smoke and mirrors. While many fame-hungry figures have done that and continue to do so, what shocks me is how far they got by being flat-out frauds. Even from an entertainment standpoint, you already said it --> boring. I think it says more about a lot of people than it does about them, though.

I think the dress lost it's value forever. I wouldn't pay 500 dollars for it.

Ive ALWAYS wondered how they managed to get that far and it's fascinating. I have a feeling that Kim marrying Kanye might have propelled Kim K to super stardom and changed her from simple reality tv show to something else entirely (being invited to places she never been before)

If there is anything more comical than a K*rd*shi*an it's people who hype them up.

Their show is my guilty pleasure but I don't agree with nor condone what they do. Kanye has been playing dress up with Kim ever since they got together so now she's pretty desperate to find her style and identity and she thought she ate here but the only thing she ate was common respect towards history, all in the name of a good headline and conversation

I just realized that amid the Amber vs Johnny court trial getting so much attention, coincidentally the Kardashians got on trial with Black Chyna for a very odd reason to sue as well. So now Im thinking that it was probably faked and Chyna got commission on it as well :awkney:

REALITY

Y'all say you don't care about the Kardashians, but then y'all want to perpetuate this story after the whole situation's been done for weeks.

Have whatever opinion you want to have about Kim wearing the dress, but understand that having these conversations is precisely what makes these people famous.

THIS. EXACTLY THIS.

They always seek controversy because people will give them massive amounts of attention for even the smallest thing. Kim stepped on a lego? Trending topic! Kris picked her nose? Worldwide news!

People cause all this and then they complain.

And she looked bald with that fried updo (not that there’s anything wrong with being bald) Why couldn’t she just let her hair be long and black like usual

I didn't think she looked bad in it and my only issue with her wearing it was when I believed she had it tailored (which she didn't :diane:) but so much this. She would have looked even better with long black hair contrasting the wrap.

You're stinky
