FfFfFfFF 58,120 Posted April 28, 2022 Share Posted April 28, 2022 The 2 possibilities are that Russia plans to invade Budjak before taking Odesa, preparing a landing on Ukraine's coast in between Danube and the Nister ...or this is simply misinformation meant to create panic and unrest in Moldova and/or to distract Ukraine's forces from fully commiting to the eastern front. It needs to be seen how the countries in the region would react (Moldova, Romania). As Budjak borders Romania, if Russian troops move there, those will be the first ground assaults with the intent of reaching NATO's border since the war started.
