They are entitled to implement "sanctions" just as much as america is so I don't see an issue with this :ohwell:

Will be interesting to see how many people who cheered on sanctions against Russia (that overwhelming **** over working/middle class ppl) say that this is awful (which it is because it also will **** over working/middle class ppl)

Polish government is already saying it'll have no significant impact on their network

Oh good :lolly:

Maybe this'll be the first step to the rest of Europe freeing themselves from Russian oil dependence

Russia is just hurting itself at this point. Most of its money comes from oil, once they start cutting that off they have no income left added to the crippling sanctions they already are suffering

Yes, this will unfortunately affect Russia's citizens. Poland on the other hand will start importing gas from Norway from Octomber, when the cold wheater starts in the Northern Hemisphere.

Your constant use of this idiotic take that I’m a Russia apologist when pointing out the blatant hypocrisy from Western govs and mainstream media outlet’s takes amazes me.

Ideally this would push all of Europe to wean itself off fossil fuels

Meme Wtf GIF

I'd say the difference would be that Russia's a massive bully in Europe right now and the sanctions that America AND MOST OF THE REST OF THE DEVELOPED WORLD PLACED were to deter/punish them from taking actions against Ukraine that have killed thousands of Ukrainian civilians and thousands of soldiers just so Putin can have a power trip. Y'alls attempts at woke takes are very misplaced and truly miss the point of what Russia is doing in Europe right now, honestly downplaying it. But i'm truly not surprised at Gov Hooka taking another attempt to take blame off of and to try to gain sympathy for Russia. Also something that should scare anyone who doesn't believe that Russia is in the wrong for this WHOLE situation or tries to distract from what's happening in Ukraine:

Like wtf are some of y'all thinking rn :triggered:

I agree with everything you said and have been calling Putin the new Hitler all these past weeks. HOWEVER it isn't just one country's right to implement sanctions, even if one side is justified (US/EU) and one isn't (Russia).

Most dependent - Sweden, Finland, the Baltic states: Latvia, Lithuania, Letonia (which stopped importing Russian gas at their own volition a while ago), Bulgaria

Second most dependent - Czech Republic

In between - Greece, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Poland, Germany, Belgium

Least dependent - Netherlands, France, Italy, Norway and Romania (imports only 7% of its gas from Russia)

Not my Country excluded from this list. Guess we're that irrelevant :toofunny:

I don't think they've cut off any oil yet. If anything a gas shortage which is interchangeable for certain things like heating oil or power generation only makes oil dependance from them harder

Unless ur refering to energy mix as a whole from Russia and not oil specifically

I find it hard to believe there won't be an impact unless it's a very small percentage that comes from there. At least in the short term anyway until networks are re-adjusted

Poland has been preparing for this for a long time. And their reserves are 80% full.
