How dare she!

The LGBTQ+ community is the most loving accepting kind community on the planet. You’ll always have hateful people in any community but don’t come for the whole bunch.

Definitely not the most loving and accepting or even kind 😂

Mother of Puppies

Why do boomers always feel so threatened by changes? I personally believe it's their way of trying to "stay in power" and to "still matter" and have a say in what's happening in society. They have a hard time accepting that some things aren't the same today as they were when they were young. This is the only logical explanation for me as to why she is wasting her time with this. I love Harry Potter, but everytime I now watch or read it it kinda leaves a bitter note now, which is a pity tbh.

MANiCURE 6

She used to be one of my biggest inspiration... I was admiring her for her work and for what she's been through... But now I feel like she's a totally different person. I am disgusted by her, her judgments over other's life that has nothing to do with her and her positions over topics that are not even supposed to be questioned anymore.

She needs to just stick to writing books and not sharing her opinions.

Or find something she's good at..

"I was just another "cis" (short for "cisgender," a word I had never even heard until it was assigned to me, typically as a slur)"

Nope, Cis is not a Slur. It's an Accurate term same as trans.

"At the time, I was exhausting so much mental energy memorizing my coworkers' pronouns and all of the new progressive dogmas out of fear that I would be fiercely condemned if I slipped up"

Most people I've met have no issue with an odd mix up with pronouns as long as it's not intentional. It's not hard to say they/them if you're unsure. This argument of "it's too hard to remember" is bull.

"But many young boys do not stop at simply painting their fingernails and wearing dresses, and young girls do more than cut their hair short and play football. With increasing frequency, these children are given drugs to block their puberty, cross-sex hormones and irreversible surgeries, all the while cheered on first by online communities, then the mainstream media and now the current presidential administration."

It's not a scale of gay to trans, Jesus Christ. It's clear whoever wrote this article has no idea what their talking about.

"Today, the least-accepting spaces for people like me are, of all places, the halls of LGBT rights organizations."

Because whoever this is is spreading the same kind of hatred that we as LGBT+ people face everyday. We don't need that in our own community, of course you'll be shunned for discriminating against our family.

Lady Palutena

Wow, she really wants to be seen as a victim. She's got issues. I'm certain there is some hostility that she has faced but I cannot help but feel like it is probably a product of her own actions and "opinions". I feel bad for her LGBTQ+ fans, must be hard to enjoy the works of someone who does not even respect you as a person.

Literally WHY does she feel the urge to share her opinion on this topic and share articles like this???? She is a straight, white woman…why does she think her opinion on the subject matters??

Why can't people differentiate anymore and only see black and white. I agree with her. How are genital preferences transphobic? You cannot force lesbians to like pen*s. Nor is it fair that trans women do compete in sports with cis women. There are physiological differences, especially when the person transitions after puberty later in life. And of course predators can mis-use the self-ID system to invade women safe spaces by claiming they are trans. There are men who study years (!!!) to become a doctor and then be able to r*pe women when they are unconcious in the hospital. It is disgusting and several cases of this phenomenon are reported and well documented. So I would not be surprised if some monsters use the Self-ID-System as a getaway for such misogynistic perverts too. And of course a woman who has been abused could feel unsafe in a changing room when there is a person with a d*ck next to her naked, some people are traumatized for god's sake. And there *are* detransitioners. Why is is seen as bigotry ot transphobia to talk about it?! Google Detransitioners, there are several Interviews on YouTube. Nothing is black and white. While a lot of trans-identified people benfit from transitioning, others regret it and get depressed or even suicidal, every human feels different and makes different experiences, has different expectations etc. ... How does talking about such issues make the trans community feel attacked or make them feel unsafe? What does it have to do with discrimination and right-wing propaganda? I'm sorry, I just don't get it. I have several trans friends (both transmen as well as transwomen) and they actuqlly to my surprise agree with the Essay that Rowling wrote back in the day and don't understand the backlash. If the word "women" is offensive and they should be called "menstruators" or something else, why isn't the word "men" seen as not inklusive enough as well? I never heard aby trans activist complain that men should be called "ejaculators" or "people with a prostate". Accepting biology as a Material reality and fact is not in contradiction to be trans-inclusive in my opinion. Gender identity is not biological s*x. Nor is being born intersex an identity or has anything to do with gender dysphoria, it is a completly different medical condition. Humans are not like clownfish who are able to change their biological s*x at will. Maybe it will be possible in the future, who knows? Maybe we can change not only or chromosons but even our DNA or ethical background in the future with modern technology and medicine. But not as of now... It is simple not possible, sorry. I stand by transwomen but I understand Rowling's argument that in cannot Happen by throwing cis women under the bus like in the fields of sport. It is simply not fair.
