FfFfFfFF 58,118
The town hall of Sânpetru de Câmpie, from Romania, is working on collecting stories about yellow pheasant's eye flowers that grow on certain pastures every spring, with the idea of setting up a natural reserve of 'yellow steppe peonies'. The initiative is following the model from Zau de Câmpie, where the blood-red steppe peony became famous in Romania and abroad. Biologists say that Sânpetru peonies have flowering stems that reach up to 45 cm, have filiform leaves and solitary flowers at the top of the stem with a diameter of up to 8 centimeters, with a golden-yellow color. 'I didn't see anywhere so many flowers like here, the field is completely yellow', says a local. The locals are glad that someone had the idea to promote the flowers from Dealul de la cruce, which are the pride of those from Sânpetru de Câmpie. They protect the flowers from animals and are proud that the plants last regardless of the weather and are not destroyed by pastoralism. Others flowers growing on the pasture include the pasqueflower. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqYg9UObJPg&feature=emb_logo Source - 1, 2, 3,
