Nicole Scherzinger wants to do the next James Bond theme song

Asked by Hello! magazine what her ideal gig would be, Nicole Scherzingersaid she would love to host a variety show that was inspired by a ‘modern-day version of Cher meets Bette Midler meets Shirley Bassey meets the Pussycat Dolls and Nicole Scherzinger.

‘And it makes complete sense,’ she added. ‘I come from cabaret theater, with grand vocals.

‘I am putting it out there that I want to do the next Bond theme song.’
 

She hopes to remind the industry of her vocal range and musical theater background.
‘I was fortunate to do Annie [the musical’ Live on NBC and it reminded me of my love for musical theater,’ she added to
‘So many people don’t know I come from that theatrical space and sing Broadway, pop-rock and jazz .’
‘I threw an intimate showcase and I think I will do more because I want to share with the industry and remind them.
‘They associate me with the Pussycat Dolls and put me in that box… I can do more things.’

Lana would be the perfect fit imo.

Nicole has an amazing voice but so do many singers... If she was big now she would have her chances but here I think it's not happening for her.

As if. For the past couple of movies, they've clearly shown an interest in getting the it girl or boy of the moment, and Nicole is far from her glory days.

Of course Gaga would be great at this, but I feel like her involvement in Top Gun might hinder her chances. I'll never get over the fact Amy Winehouse never got to do it.

Maybe Beyoncé's involvement in the Austin Powers series, which is a parody of Bond, prevented her from getting the job.

I think Lana did too many movie themes, she kinda burnt that card at this point, and she's not as exciting as she was earlier in her career.
