- it’s been a few months since dawn fm came out + i needa some time before deciding which one was better

- ngl at first, i thought dawn fm was better when the album came out cuz it was literally so amazing!!!

- but here are my thoughts now: i feel like after hours has some of my his absolute best stuff like hardest to love, in ur eyes, escape from la, and faith and the album tells an actually storyline but overall dawn fm flows better as an album and the transitions are perfection. it’s easier to sit through and listen but after hours is much more interesting to listen to

- i still can’t decide 😭 it really depends on my mood

- btw starboy still my fav album by the weeknd cuz ordinary life is just 😩

anyways which album do u guys prefer?

After Hours definitely. I love him but I still couldn’t get into Dawn FM… I mean, I just gave it one listen though so I will try it again eventually.

After Hours is really really a good album, he knows how to mix his style with electronic and the “tripping vibe” very well, that’s why his music is so attractive to me. Alone Again, Escape From LA, Hardest to Love and Faith are just :enigma:

I can’t wait to see him at the tour, he’s my favorite male singer.

Dawn FM

The music is more catchy and dancey for me. :zilla:

i love dawn fm, since the very first listen and it continued to grow and i was/am obsessed with it, such a cool concept

but now after hours? cmon man it has to be one of the best pop male eras ever, i think almost everything about the execution of this era was perfect, he really outdid himself this time and set a new bar for male in pop music tbh; also keep in mind the rollout was mostly on lockdown so it was one of the things holding me down for good lol, i was so hyped to see what would come next everytime

... and now i just sit in silence.

That’s so true, plus he is a very good performer.

After Hours and it's not even kind of close. Dawn FM is one of the most disappointing albums in a long time for me coming off the heels of such an incredible album where everything was firing on all cylinders. Dawn FM just feels so lifeless and directionless.

Dawn FM is nothing short of a masterpiece and so is After Hours. To me it all feels like a Saga, two sides of the same coin. Twins.
so to say I like one or the other more is difficult.

I tried to listen to After Hours like twice but still can't go through it or love it. I love "Blinding Lights" & "In Your Eyes" but that's it. Guess I'm on Grammys's side for this project. I'm personally fine with its Album of The Year "snub."

DAWN FM, however, grows on me the first time I listened to it.

After Hours has more songs I like, but the songs I like on Dawn FM, I like more than most of the songs on After Hours that I like. But as an album, I am going to say After Hours.

Dawn FM and it’s not even close. The album progresses marvelously.

Blinding Lights is one of the best pop songs of all time though.
